Four ways to overcome a difficult situation!

Four ways to overcome a difficult situation!

Written by Netisha Alie-Grant

Life, though designed to be a “garden of Eden”, has shifted to a constant tug between good & evil ever since. With that it becomes critical to “take the good with the bad” as you navigate life in order to keep growing and surviving! -To LIVE! Therefore we should  not be afraid of or defeated by difficult circumstances.

Here are a few steps you can take to facilitate that process!

1. Stand: Have you done everything you can about it to change it? The Lord says in Ephesians 6:13 after you have done everything you can STAND! If there isn’t anything else to do accept it for what it is, face it and you will survive. (Read Ephesians 6:13 Amp-“Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]”

2. Cut off: The devil plays a lot of mind games in difficulty by feeding a lot of lies of defeat to bombard you, discouraging any hope you may have of overcoming. John 10:10 Amplified Bible (AMP) “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. Knowing that God’s plan is that we “have & enjoy life “ Learn to silence- “resist the devil, the negative and he will flee” (James 4:7) Jesus did it when satan tried to tempt Him after His 40-day fast in the wilderness. (Matthew 4:1-11)
Walk to freedom; crossover to God’s promise!

3. Go through afraid: despite the fears and overwhelming waves of emotions that may  be flooding you, know that in everything there is a season (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) & it will pass. So brave those feelings and keep walking/moving forward anyway. Think of the Israelites when the Egyptians were coming after them & their only hope was to walk through a parted Red Sea 🌊Can you imagine the mountain of water on either sides, with all the creatures of the ocean still visibly swimming? And having to walk through not knowing for sure if and when it will all come rushing back into place? (Exodus 14) FRIGHTENING! But they did it anyway.

4. LEARN: The situation is obviously a lesson that you should learn from. To learn is to allow something to make such a huge impression on you that you do not forget it as it brings about change to whatever you knew before! “Think: “What did this situation teach me?” Then let go of the “old”. For the Israelites it was a life of slavery in Egypt, what’s yours? Embrace this lesson as you take on life with a fresh perspective!

Most of all you have to make a decision; are you going to let this make you or break you? God designed us to be victorious and have dominion over the earth 🌍 through Him there isn’t anything that we cannot accomplish here.

God:
3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Jerimiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

So “Tap into” (connect to) your divine power, put on the full amour of God and walk to freedom in Jesus name!
