In the midst of a pandemic some workers are being pressured and easily replaced while others are being sort after where even mandates do not apply to them.-The Lord opened my eyes to see that finding my purpose and investing in it was critical.

“Find your purpose and improve it to the extent that you become valuable that people will come to you to get it.”

How

First know yourself: you were created to solve a problem in this life with the abilities that only You have; find it! God told the prophet Jeremiah; ‘before I formed you in your mother’s womb I knew you, set you apart for a purpose…’ -Jerimiah 1

Next acknowledge it, because if you don’t acknowledge it (your purpose/gift) you will not pursue and perfect your gift, but instead you’ll be copying and envying others who have found, and are successfully living, their purpose.

Perfect and improve your purpose/gift: it takes work even though it is already on the inside of you. It needs to be activated. A seed needs the right conditions (sunlight, water, air…to grow) Paul tells us in Romans 5 that with perseverance, especially in challenges, our character is formed which gives us a hope like no other, that we are sure to succeed in God because He doesn’t fail.

Establish & Share your gift in such a way that people will sort after you to get it.

True Story: a young lady told me about an electrician who doesn’t have a car so she has to drive to get him for a job she needs him to do. So I asked in awe; “doesn’t he want business by not having a car?”

She responded, “because he is so good at what he does, people don’t mind picking him up to come do the job!” Is it because there are no more electricians? Definitely not, but there is no one else who does it like he does.

So if you have not found your purpose, here is to getting started.

C’est bon? Sounds good!
