Where else can Christians go besides Church , Beach & movies?
According to our Christian doctrine we are Mind, Body & Spirit. Everything that is not aligning with the Spirit of God in you is operating in the flesh/natural. We cannot say we have God in us and still mix with things that do not glorify Him.

When a young lady I tried leading to "The Narrow Path" (Born again Christian) asked me "Where else can Christians go besides Church, Beach & Movies?" -Obviously implying that one's life becomes uninteresting when you give it God, I felt compelled to prove that the God I serve is a God of Happiness, excitement and greatness.
Nevertheless, why do Born-again Christians immediately separate themselves from certain social gatherings once they say "I accept YOU (Jesus Christ) as my personal Lord and Savior?
“. Paul writes, “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15)”
Anything that promotes drunkenness, reveling, sexual immorality, idolizing sex symbols... are all "feeders" of the flesh that "suffocates" the Spirit of God within you. Hence you bear fruits associate to those seeds.
Unlike the fruits of the spirit which include "Love, Joy & Peace!" (See Galatians 5:19-22)
Critics assume that becoming a Christian means “Thou shall not have fun...” that we are missing out on some grand social gathering infused by alcohol, revealing clothing and carefree gyrating on the same or opposite sex, borrowed or possessed person, where no rules of self respect and respect for others apply.
-That “boring” is the only adjective that describes the activities we can do while the world 🌎 does the same events repeatedly with just a change in outfit, price and location. Monotonous! Who is truly missing out?
What makes a form of entertainment sinful?
“Colossians 3:17: “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
When we are relaxing and having fun or when we are seeking entertainment, we should always make sure these activities are "pleasing God."
What is the purpose of entertainment/fun/recreation?
Recreation means to re-create or renew. We seek entertainment (pleasure/delight) to balance our lives and keep our sanity from being workaholics. -To rest as God did on the 7th day! Genesis 2:2
Which means after engaging in recreation we should be renewed and recharged ready to take on new challenges not "drunk and disorderly" or tired beyond recognition with no memory of what happened the night before and feeling like a truck drove over us.
What entertains you? Does it uplift and inspire you to be a better individual in the end? Does it make you want to grab Monday by the neck and charge into a new productive and happy week? Perhaps you should revisit your entertainment activities.
God wants His children to be happy! So much so that our bodies get sick when we are stressed, angry & frustrated all the time. Yet happiness and thoughts of positivity and hope makes us healthy! WAW! What a creator we have!
So Christians it is God's will to be happy and entertained, just be "particular" about your choices, asking the questions: Does this glorify God? Does it feed my spirit, restore me and inspire me to do great things? Does it align with God's plan for my life? Does it give me rest and balance from life's challenges?
Then you'll know whether or not you can attend or part take. We do not jump to every drum that beats because it looks good. Instead we pray for discernment to make wise choices.
See below a list of activities you (fellow believers) can take part in and this is also an invitation to you to create more activities that Christians can enjoy! I've already started with a Fashion Show that promotes modestly sophisticated dressing called COVER: Hide your flesh-Reveal your spirit!
