How to pray simply yet effectively?

When a new convert approached me with the request: “Can you teach me how to pray please?” I was truly happy to help. Talking and listening to my Heavenly Father is my lifestyle. It’s what keeps me in these trying times.

So if I could help someone else survive, why not?!

This is what I said...

Let me give you the first outline:

Tip: Take your queue from The Lord’s Prayer

Begin always by worshipping and glorifying God. (That’s how you get into His presence)

Continue by making your requests known as genuinely and as pure as possible. (OPEN your heart ♥️ and be REAL with God, He already knows everything!)

Study His word so that you can use it in your requests. For example: If you’re telling God that you feel lonely 😔 His word says “He will never leave you nor forsake you...” Deuteronomy 31:6

So you say: “Lord you promised to never leave me, yet I feel alone. Help me to feel your presence and fill me up...”

Make every request through and in  the name of Jesus Christ (Our only mediator-Jesus said; “I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except He comes through me.” John 14:6 )

Close by giving thanks again and trusting that He has heard your and will show up for you without a doubt. 🙏🏽

God loves it when we have a desire to know Him more. This is not the only way to pray but if you have no idea and want a way to start, try it and invite The Holy Spirit to teach you and put the words on your lips.

God bless you and may He fulfill His divine purpose in your life. “I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, Plans to give you hope and a future.” Jerimiah 29:11

“I came so you can have life and have it more abundantly!” John 10:10

The misconception of the Jesus is coming SOON concept
